Alex Felippe Chiozo is an experienced iOS and Systems Developer with a strong background in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Graph Theory. Currently working as an iOS Developer at encripta, Alex has shipped one of the first applications using the Widevine CDM SDK for iOS. He has diagnosed and proposed fixes for critical bugs in 3rd-party SDKs and delivered iOS DRM video player solutions to partner companies. He has also developed streaming video applications for iOS and Android TV and co-authored an ffmpeg libavformat demuxer for reading PlayReady-encrypted fragmented MP4 containers. Prior to his current role, Alex has worked as a Software Developer at resource it solutions and transdata smart. At resource it solutions, he added support for transaction processing for cards from issuers Avista and Sorocred. He also redesigned and implemented a gateway for data conversion between the IST/Switch and one of the fraud prevention systems. At transdata smart, Alex became the head developer for the embedded components of the ITS and TDRod products. He interfaced an ARM-based proprietary system running on a custom-built Linux kernel with peripherals required by the applications such as LED panels, RFID readers, Ethernet cameras, GPS modules, GSM, and EDGE/HSPA modems, and fiscal printers. He also developed software workarounds for hardware failures in collaboration with Engineering and oversaw implementation for PAF-ECF conformance of TDRod.
